Applicant Selection

At Picture It Clearly we design company specific Applicant Selection Programs with one goal in mind:  to deliver an employee that meets the needs of the job and is the “best fit” for your company. 

 

THE PROCESS:

 I.          Job and Company Assessment:  To find the right applicant for a job and a company you first need to really understand all the aspects of the job and know the company.  Picture It Clearly uses many approaches to completely understand our customers and their job opportunities.  We will conduct management interviews as well as employee interviews and depending on the employment opportunity a Video Job Assessment is frequently utilized.

 II.        Establish a “Best Fit” Hiring Criteria:  Set criteria that applicants must meet or exceed based on your companies wants and needs.  The “Best Fit” criteria may include specific verifiable data (MVR record, work history, skills assessment, etc.).  It can also include future growth and advancement expectations for the company.

 III.       Evaluate Compensation and Benefits:  Our belief is that there is a “Best Fit” Compensation Package for every job.  That “package” is dependent on supply and demand for that specific job classification, in a particular geographic area, during a finite time-frame.  Picture It Clearly conducts a supply and demand analysis that will identify the “pool of candidates for a job classification (supply), and what companies are competing for those candidates (demand).  Furthermore we will quantify the supply by identifying the available applicant pool that meets your companies “Best Fit” Hiring Criteria.  We will also access the demand for candidates by identifying companies that are actively seeking similar candidates and what they are offering to those candidates.  We will compare and contrast this data and provide a “Best Fit” Compensation Analysis.  Ultimately the compensation package your company is willing to offer to fill a job is your decision.  The information Picture It Clearly provides can help to answer why it is so difficult for you to find job candidates that meet your “Best Fit’ Hiring Criteria, or alternatively why no one ever leaves your companies employment!

 IV.       Develop Job Fulfillment Marketing Plan:  Running an ad in the Sunday want ad’s is not a marketing plan.”  Finding quality employees is becoming more and more competitive, especially in certain job classifications.  Picture It Clearly will work with you to establish a marketing budget and plan that is creative and will set your job opportunities and your company apart from your competitors.
